Hurricane Sergio strengthens off Mexico coast

MEXICO CITY, Nov 15 (Reuters) - Hurricane Sergio became a Category 2 storm as it gathered strength off Mexico on Wednesday and was due to brush Pacific coastal towns at the weekend.

The U.S. National Hurricane Centers said Sergio had wind speeds of 97 mph (156 kph).
