Honduras de facto leaders to consider Zelaya return

SAN JOSE, July 22 (Reuters) - The Honduran de facto government said on Wednesday it will send a mediator's proposal for the return of ousted President Manuel Zelaya to Congress and the judiciary.

It was the first sign that the interim government might consider giving into international pressure to allow leftist Zelaya to come back home after he was toppled in late June.

The Supreme Court and Congress originally ordered Zelaya's ouster and so far resisted pressure to reverse the coup. (Reporting by Juana Casas; Editing by Kieran Murray)
