Dolly degrades to tropical depression over Texas-NHC

HOUSTON, July 24 (Reuters) - U.S. forecasters downgraded Dolly to a tropical depression on Thursday as it dissipated over South Texas.At 5 p.m. EDT (2100 GMT), the storm was 35 miles (56 km) south of Eagle Pass, Texas, with maximum sustained winds near 35 mph (55 kph), the National Hurricane Center said.
