SAO PAULO, Jan 26 (Reuters) - Rescue workers ended a two-week search for victims at the collapsed construction site of a subway station in Sao Paulo on Friday after finding a seventh body.

Authorities said they do not expect to find any more victims after they found the body of a 58-year-old man in the rubble, leaving the death toll at seven.

Rescue crews have been digging at the site since the tunnel collapsed on Jan. 12, opening up a huge crater that swallowed trucks, cars and part of nearby streets. About 40 families living in the vicinity were forced to evacuate their homes and still have not been allowed to return.

The accident forced officials in South America's largest metropolis to occasionally block off some lanes of a major highway passing by the construction site, adding to congestion in a city already notorious for traffic jams.
