Japan hit by 6.0 magnitude earthquake-USGS

WASHINGTON, Nov 26 (Reuters) - A 6.0 magnitude earthquake hit near the city of Iwaki in Japan on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The quake was centered 45 miles (72 km) northeast of Iwaki, Honshu, and struck at 1351 GMT at a depth of 24.2 miles (39 km), the USGS said.
