WASHINGTON, Oct 27 (Reuters) - President Barack Obama formally renewed U.S. economic sanctions against Sudan on Tuesday. The one-year extension, which Obama made official in a letter to Congress, followed his decision announced earlier this month to keep pressure on Sudan while offering Khartoum new incentives to end violence in Darfur.
