MEXICO CITY, Nov 28 (Reuters) - Mexican President-elect Felipe Calderon chose a hard-line conservative as his interior minister on Tuesday in an appointment likely to widen a rift with the leftist opposition which claims electoral fraud.

Francisco Ramirez Acuna, the governor of the western state of Jalisco, will be interior minister when the new government takes office on Friday, Calderon said.
