TUNIS, Oct 14 (Reuters) - Flooding caused by torrential rains killed at least eight people outside the Tunisian capital on Saturday, the country's official news agency TAP said on Sunday.

Eight more people were still missing after the floods swept away cars near Sabbelet Ben Ammar village, around 15 km (9 miles) north of Tunis.

Forecasters said they expected more rain after downpours lashed northern and eastern Tunisia, blocking train traffic, cutting roads and threatening homes with flooding in several areas outside the capital.
