Truck bomb kills 37 near Sunni mosque-Iraq police

BAGHDAD, Feb 24 (Reuters) - A truck bomb killed 37 people and wounded 64 on Saturday near a Sunni mosque in a market in the town of Habaniya, west of Baghdad, local police said.

An Interior Ministry source put the death toll at 31, with 67 wounded.

Habaniya is 85 km (50 miles) west of the Baghdad in the restive province of Anbar, where U.S. forces are battling a fierce Sunni Arab insurgency.
