BAGHDAD, Jan 7 (Reuters) - Three U.S. airmen working for a bomb disposal team were killed by a car bomb in Baghdad on Sunday, the U.S. military said. Another airman was wounded in the blast.

Earlier on Sunday the U.S. military reported the deaths of two soldiers -- one killed by small arms fire in Baghdad on Saturday, the second killed in combat on Friday in Iraq's western Anbar province.

More than 3,000 U.S. servicemen and women have died in Iraq since the start of the March 2003 invasion.
