China bus plunge kills seven children

BEIJING, May 29 (Reuters) - A minibus plunged off a cliff in central China on Monday, killing seven of 21 children on board, Xinhua news agency said.

The minibus was hit by a truck loaded with bricks in Macheng in Hubei province, Xinhua said. Fourteen children were injured.

Road accidents last year killed about 90,000 people in China where accidents are common in mountainous regions.
