BEIJING, Aug 10 (Reuters) - An Afghan plane that received a bomb threat as it flew to western China's Xinjiang region has landed back in Afghanistan, the official Chinese Xinhua news agency reported on Sunday. The plane had landed in Kandahar, Xinhua said, quoting diplomatic sources. Earlier, Xinhua said the plane had been hijacked. Then the agency reported it had received a bomb threat. Authorities in Xinjiang said it could not land at the regional capital, Urumqi, scene of deadly ethnic riots last month. The latest brief report did not say how the incident was resolved.
