JOMHURI-YE ESLAMI

- Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar will take part in a ministerial meeting of Iraq's neighbouring countries in Egypt later this month.

AFTAB-E YAZD

- A Health Ministry official said seven people died of the H1N1 virus in Iran and the total number of people diagnosed with the flu has reached 476.

SIASAT-E ROUZ

- Vice-president Mohammad-Reza Rahimi will leave Tehran for Beijing on Tuesday to attend a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), a regional security body.

IRAN - "We will never negotiate on the ownership of three Persian Gulf islands with the (United Arab) Emirates," Foreign ministry spokesman Hassan Qashqavi said.

- Tehran gave a two-month deadline to the British Museum to keep its promise to lend it an ancient artefact from Cyrus of Persia's conquest of Babylon for public display in Iran.
