SEOUL, Aug 28 (Reuters) - The two Koreas reached a deal on Friday to resume reunions of families separated by the 1950-53 Korean War, which had been suspended for about two years due to political troubles, Yonhap news agency said on Friday.

A new round of reunions will be held starting from Sept. 26 at the Mount Kumgang resort in the North, which is run by an affiliate of the South's Hyundai Group. The agreement follows a series of conciliatory steps the North has made this month. (Reporting by Jon Herskovitz; Editing by bill Tarrant)
