- Singapore has bought a million doses of a vaccine to protect against the H5N1 bird flu.

BUSINESS TIMES

- Singapore has announced a change to its vehicle quota system in a bid to erase uncertainty, with premiums of the certificates needed for car owners expected to rise.

- Investors should buy Temasek [TEM.UL] and Singapore Technologies <STEG.SI> bonds as attractive values have emerged in the quasi-sovereign space, Royal Bank of Scotland's Asia-Pacific head of credit strategy Tim Jager said.
