KABUL, Dec 15 (Reuters) - A Taliban suicide bomber hit a joint Afghan army and NATO convoy in the southeastern province of Paktia on Friday, wounding several soldiers, local officials and a guerrilla spokesman said. The number of dead or wounded was not immediately known and no further details were available. This year's fighting has been the worst since the Taliban were overthrown in 2001 and there has been a dramatic increase in suicide bombings -- a tactic rarely used a year ago and still not as common as in Iraq.
