Twelve survive crash of Indonesia airliner

JAKARTA, Jan 2 (Reuters) - Twelve people survived after an Indonesian passenger plane with 102 aboard crashed during a rainstorm in a mountainous are of Indonesia's Sulawesi island, a spokesman for the airline said on Tuesday.

"The plane's location has been found and 12 people from the 102 people on board have survived," said Hartono, an Adam Air official, told Reuters. "We are going to evacuate them to Makassar," he said, referring to South Sulawesi's provincial capital.
