NEW DELHI, Aug 10 (Reuters) - A 6.6 magnitude earthquake struck in the Indian Ocean on Sunday, but no tsunami warning was issued, the Indian Meteorological Department said.
The U.S. Geological Survey measured the quake at 6.0. Officials said there were no reports of any damage from the tremor which struck 145 km southwest of Port Blair, capital of India's remote Andaman islands. (Writing by Krittivas Mukherjee; Editing by Valerie Lee)
