Philippines warns against travel to Bangkok

MANILA, Nov 26 (Reuters) - The Philippines issued an advisory on Wednesday warning its nationals against travelling to Bangkok due to political unrest in the Thai capital, a foreign affairs spokesman said.

"The Philippine embassy to Thailand recommends that non-essential travel to Bangkok be postponed until further notice," Claro Cristobal told reporters in a text message.

"Filipino travellers requiring assistance or further information are advised to contact the Philippine embassy in Bangkok." (Reporting by Manny Mogato; Editing by Raju Gopalakrishnan)
