KABUL, Dec 29 (Reuters) - An explosion went off outside the office of the governor of Parwan province north of the Afghan capital on Monday and caused some casualties, a political source said. U.S. forces had blocked off the site of the explosion in the town of Charikar, which lies 60 km (37 miles) to the north of Kabul, the source, who is a politician from Parwan, told Reuters.
