FACTBOX-Security developments in Pakistan, Nov 12

Nov 12 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Pakistan at 1315 GMT on Thursday.

SOUTH WAZIRISTAN - An intense clash with militants erupted as soldiers advanced into the Langar Khel area of South Waziristan and 14 militants and 5 soldiers were killed while 7 soldiers were wounded, the army said.

Eight militants were killed in clashes elsewhere in the region where the army has been on the offensive since Oct. 17, the army said.
