WASHINGTON, July 9 (Reuters) - The United States has turned over five Iranian detainees held in Iraq to the government in Baghdad in compliance with the U.S.-Iraqi Security Agreement, the White House said on Thursday. "In compliance with the U.S.-Iraq Security Agreement, the U.S. has turned over five Iranian detainees at the request of the Iraqi government. We direct you to the government of Iraq for further questions on the status of those detainees," a spokesman said in a statement.
