ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE, Nov 10 (Reuters) - The White House expressed hope on Tuesday there would be no further North Korean military action in the Yellow Sea that would be seen as an "escalation."

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs, aboard Air Force One as President Barack Obama headed for Texas, spoke after the rival Koreas exchanged gunfire for the first time in seven years, damaging vessels on both sides and raising tension just days before Obama travels to Asia.
