WASHINGTON, Nov 9 (Reuters) - President George W. Bush, signaling a more conciliatory approach after suffering electoral losses this week, said on Thursday he was "open to any idea or suggestion" on the Iraq war.

"Whatever party you come from, we all have a responsibility to ensure that these troops have the resources and support they need to prevail," Bush said during a Rose Garden appearance with his Cabinet.
