A Dinka man poses for a photograph as he herds his cattle at a camp in Abyei, southern Sudan, in this picture released by the United Nations Mission in Sudan (UNMIS) on March 13, 2009. The Twic Dinka, with about 5,000 heads of cattle, moved north from Warrap State into the Abyei area as floods hit their grazing area. The Misseriya and the Dinka ethnic groups have over many years held rival claims for access to the livestock grazing pastures and scarce water of the oil-rich Abyei region in Sudan.
