Demonstrators take part in a protest against the extradition of Italian leftist militant Cesare Battisti in front of Italy's embassy in Brasilia March 11, 2009. Battisti, 54, was jailed for murder in Italy in the 1970s when he was a member of the group "Armed Proletarians for Communism" but escaped in 1981, fled to France and later to Brazil. Brazil's decided last month to give the Italian political refugee status, sparking diplomatic protests from Italy, which calls him a "terrorist". REUTERS/Roberto Jayme (BRAZIL POLITICS CONFLICT)
