Brazilian Indians beat an effigy of Aldo Rebelo, a federal deputy from the lower house of parliament, in a lake outside the National Congress in Brasilia May 7, 2009. More than 1,000 native Indians from all over Brazil set up camp on Monday before Congress, demanding more land, mining and water rights that could threaten a massive government infrastructure program.
