A child drinks from a coconut in isolated Korong Patamuan village, which was hit by a landslide when an earthquake hit the area, in Pariaman district of Indonesia's West Sumatra province October 6, 2009. Villagers said they are suffering a food shortage because unpassable roads have meant that no aid has been distributed here since the earthquake hit their area last Wednesday. Health workers doused the Indonesian city of Padang with disinfectant to ward off disease outbreaks, and helicopters dropped aid to desperate survivors six days after a devastating earthquake.
