Rajam Murugasu listens during an interview at her home in Teluk Intan, in Malaysia's central state of Perak, about 200 kilometres (124 miles) north of Kuala Lumpur, December 1, 2008. Murugasu lost her left eye 10 years ago after she fell and accidentally sprayed the weed killer paraquat on her own face while working at a palm oil plantation in Malaysia. Paraquat, a herbicide that protects crop yields, is banned in the European Union. Yet millions of field labourers across Asia use the chemical to kill weeds and some face serious health risks as a result. To match feature ASIA-WEEDKILLER Picture taken December 1, 2008.
