Description:RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create new sources of commodities, increase cash fees and GIK based on essential lists. Emphasis on full box product for procurement of commodities needed for program interventions.
• Create new sources of procuring specified items for volunteer teams and partners while coordinating with other procurement activities outside the pacific northwest region.
• Establish and actively cultivate relationships with potential and existing business clients, donors, and partner NGOs. Support the Technical Services area of MTI in product chain systems for proposals to gain cash and product support.
• Improve GIK procurement by focusing on MTI essential lists, WHO essential lists and Primary Healthcare medicines and products outside the pacific northwest region and assist staff working in the pacific northwest.
• Travel to establish and maintain ongoing client relations.
• Develop improved written means of communicating GIK needs in coordination with Resource Development and Technical Services.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelors and/or masters in business administration, economics or public health administration.
• Five to seven (5-7) years' experience in an international nonprofit humanitarian organization.
• U.S. resident.
• Ability to develop high performance relationships with people and organizations that yield outstanding results.
• Ability to manage budget and negotiated contracts.
• Leadership skills and creative cultivation strategies for major gifts of GIK and cash.
