Description:Save the Children is planning to increase income from government donors by at least 33% over the next three years. To achieve this target the organization needs to actively improve knowledge of key institutional donors in the region, of funding opportunities that may develop through these donors as well as build ongoing consortia partnerships with other INGOs.

As the Regional Institutional Business Development Manager you will be expected to build relationships with key current and potential government donors so that SC UK is in the best position to take up all relevant funding opportunities. Through detailed knowledge of the region’s work and the priorities of donors, you will encourage and shape single or multi-country responses to new opportunities and generate and steer new proposal ideas.

You will have the credibility to represent the organization to regional bodies and donors and a successful track record of securing major grants and contracts from government donors and others. We expect you to have strong existing networks in the South and Central Asia region and experience of working in partnership with other philanthropic organisations. A critical requirement is the maturity and skill to influence and guide Country Directors and other senior managers in identifying programming opportunities and resolving programming issues.
