Save the Children UK
logo
Organisation:Save the Children UK
Location:United Kingdom
Type:permanent
Salary:TBA (000's USD)
Description:We’re the world’s independent children’s charity. We’re outraged that millions of children are still denied proper healthcare, food, education and protection. We’re working flat out to get every child their rights and we’re determined to make further, faster changes. How many? How fast? It’s up to you.

You will be helping us to deliver EVERY ONE – Save the Children’s new global campaign to save millions of children’s lives. We stopped children dying from basic illnesses, hunger and malnutrition in rich countries a century ago. Now it’s time we ended it for good in poor countries. EVERY ONE of us can play a part.

With a background in health and development and a strong interest in policy and research, you’ll help to build our EVERY ONE global campaign for newborn and child survival. You’ll work with Save the Children’s country programmes, including those in fragile states, to promote the policies which governments across the world need to adopt to ensure fair access to healthcare for mothers and children. You should demonstrate experience of delivering programmes, policy and advocacy in developing countries as well as strong analytical and writing skills.

Candidates applying for this post will be subject to SC UK’s child protection recruitment procedures and checks.
