Description:The mission of the International HIV/AIDS Alliance is to support communities in developing countries to play a full and effective role in the global response to AIDS. We now have a vacancy for a Programme Manager: East and Central Africa in our Africa team based at our Brighton Secretariat.

The post holder will be responsible for the successful development and management of field programmes in Eastern and Central Africa and for the management of relationships with partner organisations, donors and other key stakeholders. S/he will coordinate international support to the programmes in the region.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable relevant work experience within the region or in a developing country context alongside significant experience in HIV/AIDS or SRH programming, experience of managing multi-country and multi-million US dollar budgets and possess proven strategic planning and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential. Knowledge of French language is an advantage.
