Based in Madrid 12 month contract - Full time (with possible contract extension) €35,000-€40,000 per annum - depending on experience HelpAge International is a global charity with over 25 years’ experience working with the poorest older people in 50 developing countries across the world. We help older people claim their rights, challenge discrimination and overcome poverty, so that they can lead dignified, secure, active and healthy lives. We are seeking an ambitious and talented fundraising manager to help us launch HelpAge International in Spain for the first time. This exciting role will be key to establishing HelpAge International Espana as a new organisation raising funds and developing relationships vital to our work with older people in developing countries, initially as our sole staff member in Spain. You will need experience of direct marketing fundraising, plus a track record of building and maintaining effective relationships with a wide range of audiences. A self starter, you will have exceptional networking and influencing skills, both in person and in writing. Fluent Spanish and excellent English are essential for this post.
